  • High performance brake pads
  • Grooved 2-piece high carbon steel brake discs / ultra light floating aluminum hubs
  • Racing Technology with TÜV-Teilegutachten = 100% road homologation
  • The performance which is given in the application list , refers to the original performance of the vehicle. Against the use of the wheel brake for performance upgraded vehicles is no objection, provided that the original vehicle meets the criteria in the Application Range.
  • Each V-MAXX Big Brake Kit is supplied with adapters to easily connect original rubber brake hoses
  • Non-expanding V-MAXX STEELFLEX stainless steel brake hoses with Teflon/PTFE inner tubing are available as accessory with Tüv homologation to improve braking performance even further
  •

    Attention:

  • An X behind the part number means that steelflex brake hoses for your car are included in the kit.

    .

ALWAYS Check if there is enough clearance to fit our Big Brake Kit in combination with your wheels. You need to do this with the WFC-Template (Wheel Fitment Chart).

This car-type specific WFC can be downloaded on the application-resultpage for your car.

  • Firstly check the indicated minimum wheel-size and then download the wheel-fitment-chart (WFC). Follow the very clear instructions to prevent any fitment problems.

  • When there is a X behind the part-number, this means that the Big Brake Kit comes complete including the correct Steelflex Brakehose for your car. When ordering the Steelflex as a single accessory, the costs are higher as ordering a complete kit.

  • For heavy street or racetrack use remove dust-protection-rings from caliper > https://www.v-maxx.com/documents/document_924_125.pdf

  • The clicking of the brake pads in the V-MAXX Big Brake Kit is completely normal. During the development of the V-MAXX Autosport® Big Brake Kit, 1 to1.5 mm free-play was put on purpose between the brake pads and the brake caliper. This ensures free movement of the pads in the caliper during high load and temperatures, thus preventing the pads from getting stuck in the caliper. In normal situation, the clicking of the pads is noticed only once if the vehicle changes direction while pressing the brake pedal. This means that if you drive backwards and the brake pedal is pressed, the pads will set in the backward direction on the contact surface, pushing out within the free play area, causing a noticeable click from the brake kit When the vehicle moves forward again and the brake pedal is pressed again, the pads will set in the forward direction within the free play area, causing a noticeable click once more from the brake kit. This clicking is therefore completely normal for a V-MAXX Autosport® Big Brake Kit, we can not and do not want to change that.
